Why we should be concerned about Egypt.
By Nate Marshall
The recent events in the middle east leave us wondering about the future of not only middle east peace but our own nation prior to the 2012 election. When average people take to the streets or protest they are often joined by radical elements that seize the moment to further their agenda and possibly create a void that they can fill.
The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1929 by Hassan al-Banna whose organization is to be a transnational islamic movement and the largest political opposition organization in many nations of the middle east.
The Brotherhood's stated goal is to instill the Quran and Sunnah as the "sole reference point for ... ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community ... and state".
al qaeda founder Usama Bin Laden was a student of the Muslim Brotherhood under Muhammad Hamid Abu al-Nasr in the 1980's
What is clear is that we cannot allow the Muslim Brotherhood to have its revolution like Hezbollah has in Lebanon and Hamas in Palestine. We are now seeing islamic terror organizations taking over legitimiate governments and clearly endangering the region and world.
The riots in Tunisia and Yemen are also spilling over to Jordan where they are attacking King Abdullah. It would be dangerous to allow not only these nations to fall into the hands of radical islamists but Jordan would be a monumental loss.
We are seeing tens of thousands of people fight with riot police and military forces reminding us of the islamic revolution of Iran in 1979. We cannot allow that event to be repeated. We understand the frustrations of the people of the region but protesting in this matter will be their downfallas radicals will push their way to top. Instead of freedom they will get Sharia law and islamic repression.
What also is at stake is Israel. Having empowered radicals holding legitimate office would place Israel at risk and possibly cause a confrontation the size of what we saw in World War 2. The United States and its allies will surely have to protect Israel thus drawing us into global conflict. That is why we need to help President Mubarak quell this revolution even if we have to use force in doing so.

Has speech become the democrats new assault weapon?
Has speech become the democrats new assault weapon?
Nate Marshall, Executive Director
Even as shots rang out in Tucson, Arizona; democrats quickly enacted a plan to push their agenda through a “crisis” driven manifesto. One suggested by Rahm Emanuel and Mark Penn that is supported by numerous liberal pundits and political hacks.
This organized plan was to stifle their opposition’s free speech by attacking radio and tv hosts such as Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh as well as former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Did free speech become an assault weapon? Do democrats believe that free speech in an open society will be their undoing?
Americans should be offended that this is how democrats actually feel and an agenda they will vigorous fight to pursue. Numerous members of congress and leftwing organizations are fighting to shut down opposition speech, sources of news and to control the media through the FCC and the fairness doctrine.
Americans have the right to criticize any government official or agency without fear of retribution. We have the right to assemble and when necessary, harshly attack the government when it fails us. And yes, we have the right to create marketing campaigns and slogans that even god forbid target elected officials. You cannot take into account the leftwing loonies, psycho babblers and criminally insane when doing so. By taking that road you again stifle and limit free speech.
The left fears defeat is near. They should either discover why that is and take a course of self correction or capitulate and be cast aside like the Whig Party. Passing grossly unconstitutional laws and creating bureaucracies are the disdain of any free society. Forcing us to pay a higher disproportionate amount of taxes so that freeloaders and other undesirables can live off the dole is wrong! This is what we are explaining through the creation and existence of the Tea Party movement.
Democrats quit embarrassing yourself by using these unconstitutional methods to get your way. Don’t be the whiner who grabs his ball and goes home when he doesn’t get his way. You’re supposed to be a party of educated intellectuals who want the best for all people. Maybe you should actually read the constitution and bill of rights. You might learn a few things about how our representative democracy works.
